Discord bot
Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
The Guild Armory bot is a free service for guilds that use the Guild Armory add-on. These terms say what you can expect from it and what we expect from you.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
The bot is provided by the operator named in the imprint (“we”). These terms apply to the Guild Armory Discord bot, its /armory commands, the sign-up boards it posts and, where enabled, the guild bank view. By adding the bot to a Discord server or using it there, you agree to these terms. If you add it for a server, you confirm that you may do so for that server.
2. The service
The bot reads the dungeon runs that the Guild Armory add-on announces through World of Warcraft's guild chat link and shows them as sign-up boards in your Discord. Signing up always happens in the game. The bot is free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop the bot, at any time. We aim to keep it running but do not promise any particular availability.
3. Your responsibilities
- Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and Blizzard's terms for World of Warcraft.
- Server administrators set the bot up, choose its channels and permissions, and let their members know that the bot is there and what it does (our Bot Privacy Policy explains it).
- You are responsible for what you and your members write — for example the note of a run — and that it does not break any law or anyone's rights.
4. What you may not do
- Use the bot to spam, harass, or post unlawful content.
- Flood it with requests, try to make it fail, or try to get at data that is not yours.
- Impersonate the bot or Guild Armory, or present them as an official Blizzard or Discord product.
If a server breaks these terms, or to protect the service or others, we may remove the bot from that server or block it, without notice where necessary.
5. Ending use
You can stop using the bot at any time: /armory reset deletes the server's settings, and removing the bot from the server ends its access. What happens to the data is described in the Bot Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
The bot is provided free of charge and as it is. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires it, such as under the German Product Liability Act. Otherwise we are not liable, in particular not for lost sign-ups, missed runs, or for content written by users. This also applies to our helpers.
7. Rights and trademarks
Guild Armory, its logo and the bot's texts and graphics belong to us. World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.; Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. Guild Armory is a fan project and not affiliated with or endorsed by either. Item data in the guild bank view comes from Wowhead; game icons © Blizzard Entertainment.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the bot changes or the law requires it. The date above shows the current version; if a change matters for you, we announce it in our Discord. If you keep using the bot after a change, the new terms apply.
9. Law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
