Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

guildarmory.de is a plain website: no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies for visitors and nothing loaded from other servers. This page explains the little data that is still processed, and why.

1. Who is responsible

The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Frederik Ertz
Hermann-Löns-Straße 9
66459 Kirkel
Germany

For anything about your data, write to info@ertz-elektrotechnik.com.

2. Visiting the website

When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that every web server receives. Our server records it in a log file:

We use these logs only to deliver the website, keep it secure and find errors. They are deleted automatically after 14 days. We do not combine them with other data and we do not create profiles.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a secure and working website.

3. Cookies, storage and external content

The public pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. Fonts, images and the film are served from our own server; no content is loaded from third parties, so no third party learns that you visited.

Links to CurseForge, Discord and other sites take you to those services. Their own privacy policies apply there.

4. Admin area

The admin area (/admin) is only for the operators of Guild Armory. Signing in uses “Log in with Discord” with the scope identify. We receive your Discord user ID, username and display name, and check the ID against a short list of administrators. Discord's access token is used once for this check and not stored.

These cookies are strictly necessary for the sign-in you request (§ 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). Legal basis for the processing: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — protecting the admin area from unauthorised access.

5. Hosting

The website runs on a virtual server in Germany rented from ZAP-Hosting GmbH, who processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Connections are encrypted (TLS); certificates come from Let's Encrypt, which receives no visitor data.

6. The Discord bot and the add-on

The Guild Armory Discord bot has its own privacy policy: Bot Privacy Policy. The Guild Armory add-on runs inside World of Warcraft; it shares data only between the members of your guild through the game and sends nothing to us.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Write to us at the address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or where the alleged infringement took place.

8. Changes

If the website changes in a way that affects your data, we update this page and the date above.
